Back to Basics

First of all my family and I want to thank you all for the many gifts you blessed us with this year. It was wonderful to see so many people worshipping together on a Christmas Sunday morning!

This was the last Sunday 2022 as we head into a new year God spoken to me countless times about getting back to basics.

Here a a few things God has given me for this coming year. Earlier this month we rolled out a tithe challenge for 2023. Commitment cards were passed out and you were ask to commit to giving God the first fruits in 2023. Don’t let the fear of commitment keep you from being blessed this year! Secondly a focus on prayer and fasting will be very visible this year. We will begin a Bible study this week called House of prayer and at least one Mid week service a month will be set aside for corporate prayer. I’m also asking each of you to set a side just one day a month to fast and pray. Thirdly we will be reading the Bible through together this year. Bible plans are a available at the church. I think it will be great for all all to be reading the same scriptures each day!

Basically God is calling us to be committed this year. If you want to see your family blessed, be committed. If you want to see your children blessed, be committed. If you want to see your church blessed , be committed.

One more reminder starting February 5th our morning service time will change to 10:45. I want to see God do amazing things in our church this year and he will as we return to the basics in 2022.
